Maybe, we don’t often hear this training around us, but it’s okay for us to find out more the details, is it?Super Slow Training is an exercise which is done slowly or with slower movement. This kind of training actually has been introduced for a long time ago by Ken Hutchins on 1970’s.Regular Exercise vs Super Slow Training Regular exercise is included many kinds of different practices and done some sets with 8 to 12 repetition every set. Each repetition is done for about 7 seconds, 2 seconds for lifting, 1 second for hanging, and 4 seconds to back to the first position. Super slow training has one exercise which is done 1 set with 4 to 6 repetitions. Each repetition is done for about 14 seconds (slowly), which has 10 seconds for lifting and 4 seconds to back to the first position. But, you need to remember that doing super slow training doesn’t means doing the exercise very slow because it can make you feel the pain. Is Super Slow Training Better? Super slow training is claimed more effective in raising someone strength than regular exercise. But, a result from George Washington University Medical Centre’s scientists proved its contradictive. The research showed whether the total calorie which is burnt in regular exercise is higher than in super slow training. The increasing metabolism speed that shows the speed in burning the calorie after do super slow training also lower than regular exercise. Even regular exercise can give a better result in power increasing and the amount of calorie which is burnt than super slow training; it doesn’t mean super slow training isn’t useful. Don’t judge that a simple exercise is wasted. However, doing exercise is better than do nothing… |
